District Committees
Committees are responsible for developing and executing programs and activities for the District, and advising the BCD Board on matters pertaining to their functional areas. They are created either by the BCD bylaws or by action of the BCD Board of Directors.
Annual Program Fund Committee
Advises and assists congregations and the BCD Board in matters pertaining to the UUA Annual Program Fund
BCD Executive Committee
The Executive Committee consisting of the BCD Board officers and one director. It assists the President in setting board agenda and may manage current and ordinary business of the District between board meetings as required.

Committee on Credentials
Appointed by the District Board to collect and certify delegates’ credentials and to supervise elections and balloting procedures at the Annual and Special Meetings
BCD Board Secretary, Chair (established yearly prior to the BCD annual meeting)
Finance and Endowment Committee
Manages the BCD endowments, advises the BCD board on fundraising and other financial matters and audits the Treasurer

Nominating Committee
Prepares the slate of nominees for the officers, directors and Nominating Committee positions to be filled by election at the BCD Annual Meeting. Advises BCD Board on individuals available for appointment to fill vacancies. Three members, one elected each year for three-year terms.

RE Gathering/ Religious Education Committee
Provides support, assistance and information exchange between religious educators; sponsors the RE Gathering, a monthly meeting of individuals interested in religious education; develops or sponsors training events; administers the District Religious Education Library.
